Caren White (oldroses)

Caren White has been gardening since she was a child. Over the years she has developed an interest in heirloom flowers and has a small but growing collection of heirloom rosebushes. Her Middlesex, NJ yard contains many types of gardens including color gardens and theme gardens. Caren is working towards accreditation as a Master Gardener (class of 2006). She serves on the Steering Committee of the RCRE Middlesex County Master Gardeners for whom she has designed and edits a newsletter. She is also a volunteer at Rutgers Gardens, the Arboretum and Public Garden on the Campus of Rutgers University. Caren’s blog, A Gardening Year, chronicles her gardens through text and photos. She also blogs about her visits to public gardens and local garden shows. Sources for heirloom seeds and bulbs as well as books that she has found useful can be found on the sidebar.
