GSP Outdoors - Gene Stratton- Porter, best-selling author, naturalist and photographer, purchased over 100 acres in 1912 on Sylvan Lake in northern Indiana and named it Wildflower Woods. Concerned with the loss of Indiana native wildflowers, she was determined to use this land to preserve them. This unofficial blog captures the restoration of the woods and garden at the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historical site.

May Dreams Gardens - We should all strive to sow, grow, and sustain good things in life's garden. I hope you enjoy these brief writings about my gardens, gardening adventures and occasional garden opinions, and are inspired to get out and do a little digging and hoeing in your own gardens, wherever and whatever they may be. This is May Dreams Gardens because all year I dream of the days in May when the sun is warm, the skies are blue, the grass is green, and the garden is all new again!

Girl Gone Gardening - "What is "The American Pie?" Where is home? In essence I am looking for the real America. Not the tabloid famous freaks or what other countries see of us, I am trying to define who, the average and sometimes trodden on, citezen of america is. What is our place with our land, our community, what is our culture? What is behind all the flash and glamor of modern "society?"
